Designing with Empathy, Driving Innovation in Healthcare

Curious about people. Grounded in process. Driven by impact.

I work at the intersection of healthcare and design, leading with curiosity and digging deep into human behaviors, motivations, and barriers.

I specialize in navigating the complexities of healthcare workflows and uncovering where digital tools can meaningfully improve both clinician and patient experiences.

I don’t just ask what’s broken, I explore what’s possible.

With a background in user research, service design, and healthcare innovation, I’ve spent years collaborating with cross-functional teams— clinicians, technologists, analysts, and patients— to reimagine care access and delivery.

My superpower: translating ambiguity into clarity by aligning real-world insights with strategic design opportunities.

What I Do

UX Research and Human-Centered Insights

  • Contextual inquiries, interviews, and ethnographic studies

  • Mixed-methods research

  • Insight synthesis and journey mapping to surface pain points and patterns

  • Research and study design in regulated environments

Workflow and Systems Design

  • Mapping current-state workflows and information ecosystems

  • Identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and unmet needs

  • Co-design workshops with multi-disciplinary stakeholders

  • Creating future-state workflows that integrate digital solutions

Strategic Opportunity Development

  • Identifying high-leverage areas for innovation

  • Translating insights into concepts, prototypes, and implementation roadmaps

  • Collaborating with product teams to scope and prioritize features

  • Supporting change management and adoption planning

Every insight is an invitation to design differently.

I start by listening and learning. Whether it’s shadowing physical therapists as they navigate mixed-setting rehab care or interviewing health IT leaders, I immerse myself in the environments and mindsets of those I design for. From there, I map systems, uncover constraints, and find the connective tissue between unmet needs and viable solutions.
